The Grow Clock is a planter for bamboo which allows its user to run a continuous production by propagation.

The user can grow fences and build a shelter from the bamboo. This helps to ease Agoraphobia.

The Bamboo can be used as sustenance due to it's high fibre and water purification properties.

The growth of the bamboo can be used to track time. Without a stable form of timekeeping this can act as a calendar.
Moving on

The main focus of the piece was the idea of growing as a person.
I made the vessels out of bottles I'd picked up on my travels around the world.
The detailing was made from old items of clothing from fads I'd moved past.
Even the interlinking mechanism is based on a toy I had as an infant.
Packing
The packaging is made from shredded coursework from my previous schools.

I had a tendancy to place importance on paper and old work which was holding it back from being recycled and cluttering my life.
​
By using my homework as packing for the design I was casting off my hoarding life.
